The Dignity Memorial Vietnam Wall at the Intrepid Sea, Air and Space Museum
Today, many service men and women are serving in Iraq, Afghanistan, and other parts of the World. Sadly, a number of these young men and women will not return home to their families. They will make the ultimate sacrifice for flag and country. It is important that we honor these fallen soldiers and all who have gone before them.
Remembering the service and sacrifice of our armed forces is the purpose of the Dignity Memorial Vietnam Wall, a 240-foot long and eight-feet high, faux granite traveling 3/4-scale replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington, DC.
