MetFDA endeavors to keep funeral directors, industry service providers, consumers, government agencies and the press well informed about topics concerning updated and new laws and procedures surrounding the funeral services industry.

MetFDA maintains a positive relationship with New York City government agencies including the NYC Department of Health & Mental Hygiene (NYCDOH), Office of the Chief Medical Examiner (OCME), and the NYC Department of Consumer Affairs (DCA).
